AfricaSeeds and ISSD have jointly organized an Expert Consultation Workshop on Measuring the performance of the seed sector in Africa. The workshop, held in Abidjan on 25-26 October 2016, gathered 40 participants. The objective of the consultation has been to recommend a set of high-level indicators by which policy makers, program leaders and other stakeholders can effectively monitor, evaluate and enhance seed sector progress and performance at national and regional levels.
