[…] the government high ranking officials are aware of the SADC initiative on seed policies harmonization and much more involved as it can be realized that some key officials from our ministry of agriculture actively took part in workshops organized by COMESA in Kinshasa (DR. Congo) and Lusaka (Zambia).
Two key officials even left Kinshasa to Nairobi to attend the workshop on this very subject. The Nairobi workshop being a follow-up to that which took place in Lusaka, Zambia- December 2010. Efforts on the vulgarization the SADC initiative on seed policies harmonization in the country are made in order to get the majority of officials at all levels involved in this matter. […]
